The IB15HT is quite simply the ultimate infinite baffle driver for home theater or hi-fi use. It was designed from the ground up to be the most accurate and lowest distortion driver ever made for infinite baffle applications. The high Xmax means the IB15HT is able to move large amounts of air with great accuracy. The extremely low Fs along with the optimal Qts of .7 makes the IB15HT extremely efficient over the lowest octaves and eliminates the need for EQ to boost low end response.

The Full Copper Faraday Sleeve (FCFS) on the pole eliminates two of the greatest causes for distortion in loudspeakers that are not addressed in most other drivers. This FCFS both lowers inductance and decreases flux modulation, fixing the flux permanently in the gap. The IB15HT has extremely low inductance allowing it to play up to 500hz or higher for applications that require wide bandwidth.

Quite simply, no other infinite baffle driver can match the high levels of clean,low distortion output of the IB15HT can provide.

As with all Acoustic Elegance woofers, great pride is taken in producing the IBHT woofers here in America. Only the best quality adhesives are used. All possible components are also sourced from within the USA whenever possible. Every piece of steel is machined in our facility to extremely tight tolerances. All woofers are individually tested and inspected before being packaged to leave the facility. The result is unmatched quality and performance.
